Traveling in Greece for three weeks, The most stunning thing is how far globlization has been. Though In Greece, it was the Polish ladies who clearn my room, make my bed, and the Bulgarians who prepare my Greece salad, the Romanians cook my dinner. The guys from Bangladesh who carry my loads. In an earily morning I saw an Indian guy outside my hotel room watering the plants in the most remote place in their imagination can be--a white and bule Greek Island far away from their home!
We are all strangers in this unfamiliar place. And ask them about how their lives go around in a foreign country; one thing is always the case; they miss their homeland. Why, then, travel so far from home to work? I didn't even want to get into conversation where Globlization has slowly yet surely changed the landscape of human faces. As this is an debatable issue, I will leave it to my none-vacational thinking for now.
