Jerusalem. Land of Godsssss......
Your God is not my God. My God is unlike your God. Their God is not the ultimate God. Can someone tell me what does "the God" mean anyway?
Four days in Jerusalem, the only common thing in the air was that people of all kind sought "their own" God in their own way. For those religious seekers, as if they all see the parallel of the three universes exist, but pretend not to acknowledge the other two. I am a person who does not belong to any of these three religions was more then excited to find myself stepping into this seemingly mystical land, only astonished to learn how deep the resentment is ingrained in people's mind. The sad thing about this is to realize human beings are quickly to hate, but not so fast to forgive as a factor play out in front of your eye. If we as ahuman family can't resolve this in Jerusalem. we may not able to have World peace. We all have to evolve our consciousness to another level at some point, if human beings as a species wants to keep thriving. In the end of the day, no matter how holy your God's heaven is, no one can say we are not on the same boat--The Earth.
PS: The way I see it is that people want to have a more meaningful life, so they seek God. And that is fine. Only when they start to distinguish others' belief as an exorcism or paganism, do the problems start. It is with this notion that politicians, opportunists and the like who manipulate people's mind in all kinds of event in order to gain their own benefits. Why the Jews and Arabics can't get along? Because for some, it is not they can't, but they don't want to. You can say they chose not to. And that's a shame, almost a sin from a religious point of view.

Noor, queen of the high land
Are you tired? Where are you from? America?
I am Queen of the high land. Noor.

Petra, Jodan
Like many people before me, I walked through the so called Siq(a narrow gorge path way led to the city) and came to this "OWE" to see the amazing monument ---The Treasury. This UNESCO World Heritage site is definitely one of the world wonder that can capture your eye and keep your imagination run wild. Not so much because the movie of The Indian Jones and The Last Crusade, but rather the nature of its environment that makes you pondering how the Nabetean people built this city back then? The facades of all the architecture in the city tell stories of the once great civilization. Yet the ruin today reminds us no matter how great thing was, it will all come to an end. Like all other ancient cultures, only when they become history, can people glorify their past.
